Paid survey opportunity for young people

Posted on 7th May 2024  2 minute read

There is a new UK Survey Opportunity for 12-18 year olds which aims to understand the experience of young people with vitiligo. LDA Research is an international qualitative market research provider specialising in the pharmaceutical and medical device sector.

What is the research about?

The primary objective of this qualitative research is to understand the drivers of patient preferences for the treatment of vitiligo, including views on treatment needs, expectations concerning treatment benefits and risks, as well as potential sources of preference heterogeneity.

What would participants be doing?

The study will involve a 60-minute video interview with adolescent patients and caregivers during which the following subjects will be discussed:

  • How people with vitiligo feel about different treatments
  • What drives the decision between one treatment over another
  • How preferences differ among different social groups (skin/age/country)
  • Whether certain ways of measuring vitiligo are well understood

Each participant will be reimbursed £100 for their time.

Who can participate in this research?

Adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18 who are based in either the UK or the US are eligible for the study. Prospective participants will need to provide a confirmation of diagnosis, such as a health record displaying a prescription for vitiligo, a photo of current prescription, or a doctors note confirming the diagnosis. Young people should seek permission and support from a parent or guardian if they wish to progress with this opportunity.

How can I take part?

If you are interested in participating, please complete the linked short screening survey.
