Why Charity Challenge?
We have lots of amazing people who fundraise for us by running marathons or hosting Birthday fundraising events, so we wanted 2026 to be the year we offer really incredible opportunities to support our work. Joining a fundraising challenge that enables individuals to challenge their physical limits and discover some amazing landmarks across the globe. Charity Challenge has enabled participants to:
- Embark on unforgettable expeditions like trekking through the Andes to reach Machu Picchu, navigating deserts, jungles, or even slithering across frozen tundras by dog sled — all while raising money for causes close to their hearts.

How it works
First, you choose your challenge from over 100 options worldwide, selecting the activity, destination, duration, and the charity you want to support. Once you’ve read the itinerary carefully, you can book online by providing your details and paying a deposit. Your chosen charity will then authorise your fundraising before your booking is confirmed. From there, you’ll gain access to a personal member area with training notes, kit lists, fundraising ideas, and travel tips.
As your departure approaches, you’ll receive updates on visas, flights, and key deadlines, including raising at least 80% of your sponsorship 12 weeks before you set off. One month before departure, you’ll get your final joining instructions, including flight details and emergency contacts.
Then comes the big moment: completing your challenge, raising vital funds, and creating memories for life. Once you’re back, you’ll finalise your sponsorship, thank your supporters, and, if the adventure has inspired you, start planning your next challenge.
