PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF USE, WHICH FORM A CONTRACTUALLY BINDING AGREEMENT. YOUR ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO CLAUSE 2 & 4 IN PARTICULAR.
1. USE OF THE WEBSITE
1.1 The Vitiligo Society website (the Website) is owned and operated by The Vitiligo Society (a charity registered in England under number 1069607). The Vitiligo Society has its registered office at 24 Greencoat Place, London, SW1P 1RD. These terms and conditions (Terms) govern the use of the Website.
1.2 The services offered by this Website are offered to you subject to your agreement to the conditions in these Terms as set out below. By using the Website in any way, you agree to be bound by the conditions of these Terms.
1.3 The materials available on this Website including without limitation all text, graphics, images and sounds are protected by copyright or other applicable intellectual property law. The copyright owner of such materials is The Vitiligo Society, and third party suppliers of The Vitiligo Society as the case may be.
1.4 You may not translate, alter, modify, republish, retransmit, redistribute or otherwise make any material on this Website available to any other party or make the same available on-line, in hard copy or on any other electronic or physical media without The Vitiligo Society’s express prior written consent.
1.5 The Vitiligo Society name and logo, and any other graphics, logos and trade marks, (whether registered or unregistered) used on this site by The Vitiligo Society, are protected by law.
1.6 You must not use any method that could hinder use of this Website by any person nor access or attempt to access any private communication, document, data or other material without The Vitiligo Society’s express prior written consent.
1.7 Nothing on this Website constitutes advice, nor does the transmission, downloading or sending of any information or materials create any contractual relationship (save as governed by these Terms).
2. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
2.1 From time to time it may be necessary for us to suspend service of this Website. We will use our reasonable endeavours to warn users of planned interruptions by way of notice on the Website. However, there may be occasions where technical difficulties lead to a suspension of service without warning. We accept no responsibility for any errors, omissions, delays, or losses including loss of data during or as a result of interruptions to the service.
2.2 Whilst all reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that material available for download from the Website is free from viruses, worms or other malicious or disruptive code, we cannot guarantee that such is the case and we accept no liability for damage caused or data lost.

2.6 SUBJECT TO CLAUSE 2.7 BELOW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE VITILIGO SOCIETY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, DAMAGES OR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFIT OR LOSS OF DATA) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO, OR USE OF THE WEBSITE, ANY MATERIAL ON THE WEBSITE OR ANY MATERIALS OR SERVICES AVAILABLE FROM THE WEBSITE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT AND WHETHER NEGLIGENT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF THE VITILIGO SOCIETY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
2.7 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit the liability of The Vitiligo Society for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of The Vitiligo Society. Further, any statutory rights you may have as a consumer are unaffected by these Terms.
3. GENERAL
3.1 You agree that these Terms and any dispute arising in any way in relation to the Website will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
3.2 Save where prohibited by law, you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
3.3 In the event that any provision in these Terms is determined to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions which shall be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3.4 These Terms represents the entire agreement between you and The Vitiligo Society relating to the subject matter hereof.
3.5 We reserve the right to alter these Terms at any time, without prior notice. Any modification will take effect immediately, either by the modified agreement being displayed, or by notification. You agree to check these Terms regularly for modifications and additions.
3.6 The provisions of these Terms on intellectual property, liability and jurisdiction shall remain in force if these Terms expires or is terminated.
3.7 No failure or delay by us in exercising any of our rights under these Terms shall be deemed to be a waiver of that right and no waiver by us of any breach by you shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
3.8 The parties do not intend any third party to have the right to enforce any provision of these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
4. CANCELLATION
Memberships automatically renew, if you no longer want to a member of The Vitiligo Society, you must email membership@vitiligosociety.org at least 20 days before your membership renewal date.
