Testing a psychological intervention for skin conditions – volunteers required
Colleagues from Royal Holloway, University of London, in collaboration with Professor Andrew Thompson from Cardiff University, have developed a digital, self-guided psychological intervention designed to support individuals with skin conditions. They are now seeking participants to test the prototype of a personalised version of this intervention.
Researchers are testing the acceptability and feasibility of a personalised psychological intervention for people with skin conditions. Participants will hopefully benefit from learning strategies and skills to help manage their responses to their skin condition while also contributing to the evidence base on personalised interventions.
The study has received ethics approval and consists of 5 weeks of self-guided online sessions, which participants can complete at their own pace and convenience.
