Our Team
Our vitiligo charity trustees and staff lead The Vitiligo Society with lived experience, empathy and accountability. As a result, our work reflects the real needs of the community we serve.
The Vitiligo Society is led by people who truly understand what it means to live with vitiligo. Every member of our Board of Trustees has been personally affected by the condition. Because of this, they bring insight, empathy and practical understanding to everything we do.
Our Trustees provide guidance, oversight and long‑term direction for the charity. Alongside this, our dedicated staff team delivers our day‑to‑day work, services and campaigns. Together, they work closely to ensure our priorities and decisions remain shaped by lived experience and community need.
Vitiligo Society Charity Trustees
As a registered UK charity, we follow the governance and reporting standards set out by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. The Vitiligo Society Trustees meet regularly to agree on the policy and strategic direction of the Society. All Trustees are volunteers who either live with vitiligo or have been affected by the condition in another way.
In addition, Trustees hold responsibility for governance, financial oversight and long‑term sustainability. They actively monitor how the Society uses its funds, ensuring that money supports areas of greatest importance to members and the wider vitiligo community.
Above all, the Trustees help ensure that the Society remains transparent, accountable and focused on its charitable purpose.
